School Fete
The school fete will be held on Saturday March 21 and our class are supporting the plant stall. If you wish to donate plants or pot up some seedlings, let Mr McGaw know asap and we will help raise funds for our school by selling some shrubs, flowers and trees to our community.
Homework
Homework went home last week and will continue to go home weekly to support our classroom learning and the homework policy of Tenambit Public School. You each have a special folder to collect from Mr McGaw as of Week 5 to keep your homework safe and organised throughout the year.
HISTORY – AUSTRALIAN COLONIES
Today we finished viewing Episode 1 of ‘The First Australians’ titled; ‘They Came to Stay’.
This introduction to our History unit places us in the late 1700’s and early 1800’s where our journey begins. To view the episode again, click the video image above and take a journey back to 1788.

The Brisbane based Indie rockband Sheppard were formed in 2009 and released their first album; ‘Bombs Away’ in July, 2014. Now 5M are starting to learn the lyrics and some cool moves. Check the video out here and enjoy this uplifting song by Sheppard.
